A number of SEO services agencies today have mushroomed all over the world. After the recent Penguin shake-up from Google, many of them have shut shops and some of them have no longer healthy. And some remain as healthy as ever, or even healthier. While analyzing the nature of offer the SEO service offers that these companies had and have, I noticed a few distinct trends. And clearly, there were remarkable differences between the successful and failed SEO service providers.

Diversity: The successful companies have diversified their link building profiles. They have not relied upon one single source for their off-page SEO efforts and they have not relied upon just one or two anchor texts. In anchor texts, they have used exact match as well as LSI kinds of anchor texts to obtain the rankings. By means of all these efforts, they have made their linking profile significantly diverse. Naturally, many of the cheapest SEO services could not afford to be this diverse.

 

Consistency: The SEO outsourcing companies that succeeded have been consistent in their link building efforts. They have not built links in a few large batches, but have kept spraying the links into the system in small, continuous pieces as required. And this discipline of link building has received a rich reward from the search engines – they are still on the top for no reason.

 

Client reach: This was an interesting finding. The number of clients that the companies surviving the onslaught was found to be high. This is in direct agreement of the proverbial saying that Google will rank you high up only when you don’t need Google any more for generating your online traffic. This probably had to do with the fact that these companies were delivering the ranks earlier and kept delivering the ranks in spite of the updates, so the word spread rate was high.

 

It was evident from my analysis that the companies practicing the above disciplines have survived the Google onslaught, while the rest have languished to non-existence. So once more, I was glad to see the stamp of success coming effectively from Google to companies that believe in the core values that drive our SEO process.

 

It proved once more that our high success rates are not by chance – they come from our successful study and understanding of the SEO space and contemporary industry addressing the outsourcing of SEO services. And it has motivated me to stick to the SEO methods that I get my company to today (as you may have read in my other SEO services blog posts), as these other companies also exist that follow similar healthy SEO ranking methods.
